Lowest Airfare To Hundreds Of Destinations Worldwide
Here are some helpful tips for finding the cheapest airfare:
Departure dates are the cheapest when flight volume is low. Thursdays and Fridays are chosen in particular because it's towards the end of the week and it's not on a weekend.
If you don't stay a Saturday stay your price will most likely be higher than if you did. So if you're thinking about a Monday through Friday trip, think about extending one more day. The price difference will most likely outweigh the cost of the extra day!
Return flights are almost always cheapest when a weekend or Monday falls on the day of a return flight. As always, play around with the dates then plan accordingly.
Fly on or close to the end or start of the seasons. For example: Flying to Egypt during the winter is much cheaper than flying in the Summer. The reason being, is that a lot of flights happen when kids have summer break, employees are taking their leave off from work, etc. Flights are specifically slow when everyone's at school, work, etc. The key here is to find a flight right about the end of the season, this way you'll get the best of both worlds (i.e. temperature wise and vacation planning wise).
Join your airline's frequent flyer program or sign up for a frequent flyer card. Even if you don't fly often, you can get points to use on seat upgrades, priority check-in, and even merchandise.
